SeaSpan Marine Lands $8 Billion Shipbuilding Contract

VICTORIA – A major victory for B.C.’s shipbuilding industry today as Seaspan Marine has been awarded an $8 billion contract by the federal government. Seaspan, owner of Vancouver and Victoria shipyards, will build non-combat vessels as part of the federal government’s largest shipbuilding undertaking since the Second World War.
